What we ask for
- What you type at checkout — your name, the address the parcel goes to, a billing address if it differs, an email address, a phone number if you give one, and what you bought.
- Anything you write to us — emails and messages, kept with the order they relate to.
- Server logs — IP address, browser and the pages requested, recorded by our host so the site can be kept secure and faults diagnosed.
Lawful basis for each use
- Contract — we need your details to fulfil the order you placed and to support you afterwards.
- Legal obligation — accounting and tax records have to be kept.
- Legitimate interests — preventing fraud and keeping the website secure.
- Consent — marketing email, and only if you asked for it. Withdraw at any time.
Recipients of your data
We pass data only to the delivery carrier handling your parcel, to our hosting provider, and to our accountant for the statutory records. It is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers.
International processing
Transfers outside the United Kingdom are made only on UK adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Retention
Order and transaction records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, to meet HMRC requirements. Marketing consents are kept until withdrawn. Correspondence is kept for two years.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask to see the data we hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict what we do with it, to object to processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to us at once at support@crowntailoring.shop and we will reply within one month.
